30 year old Patrick Thomas (PT 93) born in Halifax NS, Canada is a professional Disc Jockey, Music Producer and Mix Engineer. He is a Class of 2022 graduate of NSCC in the Music Production and Engineering program.

PT 93 has been producing since 2020 and DJ-ing since 2014 in his hometown of Halifax NS, Canada. Patrick started DJ-ing as a way to express himself and his love of music in 2014 and was quickly added onto shows at local venues The Argyle (Pint Halifax), Toothy Moose, Pacifico Nightclub, Reflections Cabaret, The Seahorse Tavern, The Saltyard, The Beer Garden Halifax and more… Throughout his early 20’s Patrick would really develop his sound of a mix of Progressive House, Deep House, House Music, Trance, LoFi, Hip Hop & Rap. He started by recording his DJ sets and uploading them to mix cloud and even started a radio series called “Feeling the Night” which is a blend of all of PT 93’s favourite music mixed into 1 hr + radio shows. In 2020 Patrick would set out to learn the art of producing music and enrolled in the NSCC - Music Production and Engineering program to learn how to take his production to the next level. Throughout the program Patrick was able to develop his skills in music making, songwriting, mixing, mastering, and engineering. He uses Logic Pro as a DAW but has experience in ProTools as well. Patrick is familiar with analogue mixing and recording and has benefited greatly from his time at NSCC using the state of the art facilities and learning from accredited instructors Mike Ryan, Alex Meade and Stephanie Pronk.

“Growing up as the son of a 80’s rock drummer and a live sound lighting director, music has always been constant in my life. It’s been responsible for some of my earliest fond memories. I used to remember playing my dads drums and listening to his music in his cars on long drives. Growing up I really was into DJ culture, Hip Hop and Electronic Music. It’s my passion. I love it. One day it sorta just clicked to me. I should be a music producer. I can’t wait to share my music with all of you!“
